According to a new study, home owners believe the value of their homes is rising for the first time in three years.
The Knight Frank and Markit Economics House Price Sentiment Index found that 11% of property owners thought the value of their home had risen over the past month, while 9.9% thought it had fallen.
The Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which was announced in last month’s Budget, was highlighted as one of the main reasons for confidence returning.
