6% house growth forecast for 2013

Property portal Rightmove estimates that the average house price in the UK will have risen by 6% by the end of the year.
Although their house price index for September shows a 1.5 per cent decrease on the previous month, the company has revised up its previous estimates.
The average property price according to the Rightmove index was £245,495 in September compared with £249,199 in August.
