Giving Back
Censeo is a business that takes it’s social responsibility very seriously. We recognise that some people make an enormous effort and personal sacrifice to help others. This is to be commended and we aim to give a little back to help. We are supporting our amazing NHS heroes who are first time buyers with a fee free mortgage broker fee.

Charities
Each year Censeo donates a contribution for each completed mortgage to selected charities. This year we are proud to be helping two charities who support homelessness of younger people. Some of the Censeo team will also be taking part in this years Mortgage Sleep out.
Albert Kennedy Trust
Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+, can sadly lead to young people being made homeless – even in 2021. Around 24% of young people experiencing homelessness in the UK are LGBTQ+, which is significantly disproportionate. Once homeless, LGBTQ+ young people are more likely to face violence and discrimination than young people who aren’t LGBTQ+.
akt is the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity supporting young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. They support young people into safe homes and employment, education or training, in a welcoming and open environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities. You can read more about akt and their work.
End Youth Homelessness
End Youth Homelessness (EYH) is a national movement of leading youth homelessness charities that have joined forces to tackle the youth homelessness crisis in the UK.
Before EYH there was no national organisation to represent young people experiencing homelessness. This meant youth homelessness charities were overlooked when it came to national partnerships. EYH fills that void. We exist to give the issue of youth homelessness a national voice and to raise income on a national scale so that we can pilot and scale interventions that mean young people can live successful, independent lives in the future. We breakdown competition between charities and increase collaboration, improving outcomes for young people across the UK.
Together with our Member Charities and through our Housing and Employability Programmes, we supported 40,000 16-25 year olds last year. You can read more about EYH and their work.
This year, the mortgage industry will be coming together to raise money for a vital cause. Sleeping under the stars to help aid those that have no other choice. Censeo have registered to take part in this event. Youth homelessness is at a crisis point in the UK and our aim is to raise £250,000 to help vulnerable young people make a positive change in their lives.
