10,000 reservations for new build homes in the last 4 months
15 August, 2013
As a result of the Government’s new help to Buy scheme, there have been 10,000 reservations for new build homes in the last four months.
Since the launch of this equity loan scheme in April, new housing supply is thought to be at its highest level since 2008, with a total of 319,000 additional homes across England having been added to housing supply in the 2 years to October 2012.
Over 150,000 affordable homes have been made available in England in the last 3 years, largely due to the wider affordable housing programmes.
