Censeo Confirmed as Headline Sponsor for London’s number one event for low-cost home ownership

16 August, 2013

Censeo Financial, the London affordable homes mortgage specialist have been announced as the headline sponsor and sole mortgage advice provider at the FIRST STEPS Affordable Homes Show 2013 on 28th September.

The event is officially endorsed by the Mayor of London and offers an excellent opportunity for first time buyers in London to meet the experts and providers who deliver affordable home ownership products across the Capital.

A key part of the show will be the option for attendees to have a one-to-one discussion with Censeo. There will be a designated ‘Censeo Mortgage Zone’ where members of the public will be able to sit with a member of the Censeo mortgage team and discuss questions they may have.

As part of the arrangement, Censeo will also be promoted on www.sharetobuy.com/firststeps as a face-to-face alternative to Share to Buy’s own in-house online mortgage brokerage, thus giving potential customers a choice of two channels to obtaining a home loan.

Tony Davis, Director of Censeo Financial, says: “We are thrilled to be working with the Greater London Authority and Share to Buy on The First Steps London Affordable Homes Show.

“With over 4,000 people attending the last event, there is obvious demand from Londoners who want to find out more about affordable housing in London.”

He adds: “Additionally our expertise in the sector means we are ideally placed to assist many would-be purchasers in turning their homeownership aspirations into reality through our presence on the London First Steps property portal.

“We have a team of trained advisors who will be happy to guide prospective buyers through the process of getting a mortgage by offering quality face-to-face advice in our Central London offices.”

James Cartlidge from Share to Buy who will be hosting the event says: “We are delighted to confirm Censeo as headline sponsors for this year’s FIRST STEPS Affordable Homes Show. Censeo are widely recognised as a growing force in face-to-face mortgage advice in the affordable sector and we have been impressed by the very positive feedback they have generated from customers and partner housing providers.

“We are also pleased to welcome Censeo as part of our mortgage offering on sharetobuy.com, giving customers who visit the site a genuine choice between an online and face-to-face provider.

“Whilst there is growing interest in online mortgage provision, there is no doubt that many customers continue to favour the face-to-face approach and we think it will be attractive to our customers that Censeo can arrange an appointment with one of their brokers in their office on Regent St, in the heart of London.”
