Large increase in first time buyers

According to the Council of Mortgage Lenders, there has been a 30% rise in the amount of first time buyers compared to the same period last year.
The CML says that 68,000 first time buyers bought in the second quarter of 2013 compared to the previous year with people buying an average of 81% of the property’s price.
