Thousands of Londoners pushed into debt by so-called bedroom tax

According to False Economy, a union-backed pressure group, thousands of Londoners will be pushed into debt by the so-called ‘bedroom tax’.
Figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that a total of 3,700 Londoners had been pushed into debt.
And almost one in five London council tenants affected by the benefit reform could now face eviction for falling behind with their rents.
