UK sees lowest ever interest rates

Interest rates have been slashed to just 0.1% from 0.25% in order to counter the effects of the Coronavirus. This means that rates are now the lowest in the 325 year history of the Bank of England.
It is one of the first moves by new BoE Governor Andrew Bailey and was the second rate cut in a week.
