New survey reveals 85% of homes in Central London sold to foreign buyers

A survey by the estate agent network London Property Partners reveals that 85% of homes sold last year in Central London were to foreign buyers. Of this figure, 80% were to European purchases and 20% to those from Asia.
Miguel Janin, director at the company is quoted as saying : “Over the past 18 months, overseas investors have continued to dominate with demand from sovereign wealth funds concentrating on large trophy assets in both the City and West End.”
